In these terms:
I / me means Janko Bosch Photography.
You means the person ordering from my store. A consumer is someone who buys outside of their trade or business.
Products means the photo books, zines, prints and other items offered in the store.
Withdrawal period means the 14 days in which a consumer can cancel the purchase.
These terms apply to every order placed in my online store. Photoshoots and other services are covered by separate terms. Before you complete your order, you can read and save these terms. At checkout you confirm that you accept them. If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest remains in force, and the invalid part is replaced by a clause that comes as close as possible to its original meaning.
I describe products as accurately as I can. Photos of books and prints give a faithful impression, but colours on screen can differ slightly from the printed result. Many products are limited editions. Offers are valid while stock lasts. If an item turns out to be sold out after you ordered, I let you know and refund any payment within 14 days. The contract is concluded once you complete the order and payment. You receive a confirmation by email. Some products, such as the photo book Dressed, contain nudity or sensual imagery and are intended for adults only. By ordering them you confirm that you are 18 or older.
All prices are in euros and include Dutch VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay. For orders shipped outside the EU, import duties, local taxes or handling fees may be charged by the destination country. These are paid by you. Payment is made at checkout through Stripe, using the payment methods shown there, such as iDEAL or credit card. I never see or store your card details. Obvious mistakes in prices or product descriptions, such as a clearly wrong price, do not bind me.

As a consumer you can cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period starts the day after you, or someone you named, receive the product.

Every product comes with the statutory warranty: it must be as described and fit for normal use. These terms never limit your legal rights as a consumer.
If a product has a defect, such as a printing or binding error, or was damaged in transit, I offer a replacement or, if that is not possible, a refund. Report defects within a reasonable time after you discover them, preferably within two months.
Complaints can be sent to jankobosch@pm.me, with a clear description and photos if possible. I confirm receipt within 7 days and aim to resolve the complaint within 14 days. If I need more time, I let you know.
If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can take the dispute to the competent court (see next section).
All photos, books and prints remain my copyrighted work. Buying a product gives you ownership of that physical copy only. You may not reproduce, scan, publish or use the images commercially without my written permission.
My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order, unless the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence. I am not liable for indirect damage. This does not affect your mandatory rights as a consumer.
If I cannot deliver because of circumstances beyond my control, such as illness, problems at the printer or carrier delays, I inform you as soon as possible. If delivery becomes impossible, you may cancel and I refund your payment.
Dutch law applies to all orders. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of that country. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives a consumer the right to go to a court in their own country.

I may update these terms. The version that applied when you placed your order always applies to that order.
